Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DevTools (“we”, “us”) collects when you use devtools.in.net and how it is used.
Last updated: October 31, 2026
The short version
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your web browser. Text, files, tokens and other data you enter into a tool are processed on your device and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We do not require accounts and do not ask for your name or email address to use the tools.
Information processed in your browser
When you use a tool, your input is handled by JavaScript running locally. To make it easier to pick up where you left off, the most recent input for each tool may be kept in your browser’s sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the tab. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in localStorage. You can clear both at any time through your browser settings or by pressing “Clear” in a tool.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs for each page request, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the service running, and are retained only as long as necessary for those purposes. They never contain the content you enter into tools.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which tools are popular. It does not use cookies and does not track you across websites; visitors are counted using an anonymous identifier that is discarded after 24 hours. It records the page address, referrer, country and device type — never the content you enter into tools.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which helps keep the tools free. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before personalised ads and their cookies are used, through a consent message provided by a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.
Third-party resources
The code editor used by the tools (Monaco) is loaded from the jsDelivr CDN, and web fonts are served from our own domain. These requests contain only standard technical information such as your IP address and browser; they never include your tool input.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because we don’t collect tool input or require accounts, we generally hold no personal data beyond short-lived server logs. For requests regarding advertising data, please use Google’s controls linked above, or contact us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
