About the Unix Timestamp Converter

Leave the input empty to see the current timestamp. Relative time, day of year and ISO week number are included too.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Unix timestamp?
The number of seconds since 00:00:00 UTC on 1 January 1970 (the Unix epoch), not counting leap seconds. JavaScript's Date.now() returns milliseconds instead.
What is the year 2038 problem?
Signed 32-bit timestamps overflow on 19 January 2038. Modern systems use 64-bit integers, which last for billions of years.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens in JavaScript inside your browser tab. Your input is never sent to a server, logged or stored, so it is safe to use with internal or sensitive data.
